The community now known as White Cliffs Country Club has a proud tradition of hospitality throughout its storied existence. We began our history in the early days of the Wampanoag Tribe. The first written record of this area was documented by Henry David Thoreau, who described the house of an Indian family living approximately where the 18th hole is located. Much of the land here remained untouched until the construction of the White Cliffs Hotel in the 20th century. The original hotel consisted of sixty-seven motel units and fourteen cottages, a golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, and landing strip. Fast forward to 2011, the modern White Cliffs Country Club celebrated its 25th Anniversary!
Our enduring history of welcoming people continues as we hope you, too, will visit White Cliffs Country Club where there is something for everyone.
White Cliffs Country Club is a gated community that encompasses over 130 acres located in “America’s Hometown," Plymouth, Massachusetts (settled in 1620).
