Our Chef - Chef Micahel Lus
Executive Chef - White Cliffs Country Club, Plymouth, MA
Michael was born on Cape Cod in Hyannis and feels a deep connection to the area's culinary influences. He is a longtime resident of Hingham, where he lives with his wife and has two grown daughters. He is a seasoned culinary professional who brings leadership, education, creativity and organization to our Kitchen department. Michael graduated from Bentley College with a degree in Accounting and worked in that arena out of school for a few years. While in school, he began to pursue cooking as a career, training under a number of Boston chefs, including Chef Frank McClelland of L’Espalier fame. His kitchen apprenticeships also include Cafe Budapest, Rebecca’s on Charles Street and the famous Hills Dining Room on Cape. He went on to work as an Executive Chef for Legal Seafoods, the Back Bay Restaurant Group (Charley’s, Joe’s American, Famous Atlantic Fish) and the Barrett Restaurant Group. Well-versed in high-volume and event production, he is a great asset to our club. He’s an affable and friendly man who connects with our members and enjoy visits in the Dining Room. We are thrilled to have Chef Michael on our team!
